Description
* Lovely 1950s ivory textured fine striped cotton dress
* Fabric design features light and dark magenta pink poppies with green leaves
* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and full skirt
* Sleeveless bodice with scooped neckline and button front, press studs below waist
* Bodice is gathered at darts which extend from sides and arc across front
* Black cotton collar that ties in a bow at front and converts to straps at back
* Very full tightly gathered skirt with inset pockets at seams
* Unlined, raw seams with hand finished hem
* Low back with black straps
* Commercially made, label removed only size label remains
Condition
This dress is in excellent condition for its age. No notable flaws that I can see, presents beautifully. On close inspection there is some hand stitched reinforcement at side seam and the straps are hand sewn at back with plenty of room to lengthen if desired. Absolutely nothing to detract from the wearability or presentation of this beautiful dress. Cleaned and ready to wear. Please drop us a line if your require additional information about this listing.
