Betty Barclay

The company was owned by the Jonathan Logan company, one of the largest clothing manufacturers in the USA and one that marketed under several brand. In 1955 the German textile maker Max Berk acquired the German licence to make Betty Barclay dresses for the European market. In 1972, the company was bought by the German branch, and it is still in operation today.
Comment
This vintage dress has been well looked after and is in excellent condition for its age. Remember this dress is over sixty years old but has no noticeable flaws that I can seen apart from very light discolouration spots on inside facings - not able to be photographed and not visible when worn.
Shown with a crinoline, which is not included. Accessories such as belts and ribbons not included unless noted. Some items may be pinned to the form.
