* This dress was too small for my size 8 (USA size 2) dummy and was pinned to it...hence it doesn't sit as it should but you get the picture...:)

 

Description

*1950s graduated blue lace dropped waist dress

* Slightly decollete front with round neckline at back

*Short set-in sleeves

*Ruffled skirt beyond hipline in three colours : sky, mid and indigo blue

*Perfectly working side zipper

* Labels include A NEW DEB FROCK NEW YORK and Styled for Jo-An SCHENECTADY.  

 

Comment

This vintage dress presents beautifully. There are, however, two minor flaws. Small holes in lace fabric near zipper where someone has struggled with the zipper and damaged the surrounding fabric and also a small stain on one of the lace ruffles. The dress has been priced accordingly as a result. These minor flaws are shown in the last photograph.
