Condition
This beautiful dress is in excellent vintage condition for its age. The only issue is that a proportion of the leaves have tiny stress fractures - probably caused by incorrect storage. I was going to detach the leaves and reinforce with iron on fusible patches but didn't have the time. Completely wearable and presentable as is but the added care will ensure that the dress is durable for many years more. Priced accordingly. Photo 5 shows a closer look at the leaves. It truly is a stunning and unusual dress. Shown with a crinoline for presentation purposes and not included in the sale.
