* Vintage 1950s black & white newsprint cotton skirt
* Skirt is comprised of small strips of fabric joined together at angles to create volume
* Self fabric waist band
* Decorated with large rose floral appliques in shades of gold and pink
* Appliques made of heavyweight cotton
* Fastens with side zipper and hooks and eyes
Condition
This amazing skirt is in great condition for its age, the only issue I can see are a couple of tiny marks in a few places. I don't believe these are much of an issue as they get lost somewhat in the busy print. Shown in last photograph. All in all, a sensational and beautiful novelty skirt.
