* Absolutely gorgeous 1950s black background cotton blend dress
* Fabric design features large blue and teal coloured circles
* The circles have an abstract design that looks like water refections
* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and full skirt
* Sleeveless chemise bodice with scooped almost bateau neckline
* The shoulders have decorative cross-over effect with a jet black button
* Very full tightly gathered skirt
* Unlined, raw seams with hand finished hem
* Back with metal zipper
* Label reads Jeanne d'Arc
Condition
Oh my, this is such an eye-catching dress. Not surprised that the label is a Jeanne d'Arc. As all the dresses I have owned with this label have been quite special. On the most part, they have been very feminine florals or dress with embroidered details, but this one is really unique: both in fabric design and construction. It is in excellent condition for its age, freshly laundered and ready to wear. There is a very large hem on this dress and it can easily dropped to your required length if currently too short. It does not appear it would leave a visible hemline. Belt for presentation purposes only and not included within this listing.
