Comment

This vintage dress is in good condition for its age. Remember this dress is over sixty years old and has had a previous life. It presents beautifully but has a couple of blemishes. Due to age and exposure to light, the shoulder line has faded a little (as shown in the last photograph) and some slight unpicking of the embroidery thread here and there but hardly noticeable. The price reflects these flaws.

The shoulder fade could be eliminated completely by taking a piece from the very full flounces or matching ribbon and adding a pleated strip to shoulder as a contrast (often seen in vintage dresses). Moreover, the dress can be easily run in if the bust is too large. All in all, a very eye-catching dress.
