* Striking late 1950s early 1960s silk sheath dress
* Design features gorgeous cabbage roses in pink, purple & lavender with green leaves
* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and a-line skirt
* Sleeveless bodice with low oval neckline
* Ruched panel at waistline in self fabric complete with bow
* Fully lined in red acetate, oinked and finished seams and hand finished hem
* Scooped back with early nylon zipper
* Label reads Mam'selle by Betty Carol
Mam’selle was one of the better of the Seventh Avenue Junior labels during the 1950s and 1960s. As such, the line was comparatively expensive, and catered for the older teen and young woman markets. The finishing on these garments is also of a higher standard than most ready to wear apparel available of their time.
Condition
This dress is in excellent condition for its age without any faults that I can see. The fabric is so vibrant!! Looks hardly worn. Cleaned and ready to wear. Please drop us a line if your require additional information about this listing.
