Waist: 22 - 30 inches + 56 - 76 cm (measured at rest and stretched)

Total Length: 24 inches + 61 cm (from centre bust seam to crotch not including strap)

(The swimsuit was displayed on al larger dress form that accommodates briefs...it would be best displayed on a smaller sized form)

* Vintage mid 1950s cotton swimsuit/ playsuit

* Beautiful two-tone sapphire and turquoise blue with green floral print

* Classic pinup silhouette

* Sweetheart bustline with piped trim

* Adjustable halter shoulder strap that can be removed for strapless look

* V-shaped waistline with piping trim

* Boys cut shorts with elastic underneath at leg openings 

* Low plunge back with shirring

* Fully lined in white cotton with boning for support

* Label did read National Outerwear (unfortunately has been lost)

Comment

This swimsuit is in excellent condition...the only issue preventing it to be listed as mint is that the internal cotton lining has some slight colour bleed not seen from the outside. It was deadstock but it has been washed once. Really in absolutely beautiful and sturdy condition.
