Description
* Beautiful 1930s evening dress in navy blue silk taffeta
* Iconic silhouette with cinched waist and long full sweep
* Bodice has short ruched sleeves with a gathered bust
* Pleated cream silk trim creates a dramatic stand-up neckline
* Bias cut skirt with diagonal insert at hips to create a fuller dress
* Hemline is trimmed with the same pleated ivory fabric
* Unlined with raw seams
* Side opening with snap closure
Condition
This dress has iconic Art Deco styling. And will fit a variety of sizes due to the bias cut, but no bigger than the measurements provided above. The fabric is in excellent condition, all i could see is a slight lightening along the right side shoulder seam, and the side seam has come undone slightly under the snap closures. The lightening can be seen in the last photograph, which also shows the gorgeous sleeve detail. Apart from these two minor flaws the dress is in wonderful sturdy condition. Missing belt, I used a ribbon and buckle for the photoshoot. Please drop us a line if your require additional information about this listing.
