* Lovely late 1950s black organza dress

* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and very full skirt

* Wide nude illusion scooped neck bodice with sweetheart neckline

* Set in unlined cap sleeve

* Full princess seamed skirt

* Black pleated satin trim under bust graduating lower at back

* Fully lined in black taffeta

* Working back metal zipper 

Comment

This dress is in great condition for its age without rips, stains, major fading or holes.  On close inspection I found a small broken thread (pinhole) in fabric at the front, only noticeable in strong sunlight, a very thin line of whitish substance near back skirt hem (affects about 1 inch in length, too small to measure in width)  and an old seam repair to the inside shoulder (not seen from exterior) These are very small issues to the overall presentation of the dress and not seen in the studio shots at all but priced with these in mind.
