* Beautiful late 1950s early 1960s ivory crisp cotton dress
* Fabric design features small black polka dots with blue carnations with green leaves
* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and full skirt
* Sleeveless bodice with scooped oval neckline
* Neckline has inset of white pique cotton trim with self fabric bow on each shoulder
* Dropped waist with self tie half belt attached to each side
* Very full gathered skirt with self piping where skirt is attached to bodice
* Unlined, raw seams with hand finished hem
* Metal closed in zipper at back
* Unlabelled
Condition
This dress is in excellent condition for its age. Fabric is very crisp and the colours are bright and unfaded. No notable flaws that I can see, apart from the fact that the pellon stiffening was cut away inside the dress. Does not detract in any way from the presentation of this dress and only mentioned for full disclosure. Cleaned and ready to wear.
