* Sleeveless bodice with low v-shaped neckline
* Bodice has pleated cummerbund floral waist with the upper bodice in black silk
* 3D applique rose at neckline
* Pleated full skirt with border print
* Red beads outlines roses on skirt
* Plunging back with metal zipper
* Dress is fully lined in black satin
* Label reads "Designed by Anna - Habana Hilton"
The Habana Hilton was built in 1958 when Cuba was a tropical playground for the West. At the time it was Latin America's tallest and largest hotel. Apart from the numerous guest rooms and suites, the complex contained an elegant casino, six restaurants and bars, rooftop bar, huge ballroom, convention facilities, an exclusive shopping arcade and outdoor pool and cabanas. The couturier, Anna was based at the hotel to produce eye-catching wardrobes for well-heeled tourists. The Habana Hilton traded until 1960 when Fidel Castro nationalised the property and renamed the hotel.
Condition
Gorgeous dress in excellent condition. Looks hardly worn -the print remains vibrant and unfaded and the silk is strong. Cleaned and ready to wear. Please drop us a line if your require additional information about this listing.
